Jesus at the Centre Network

A network of churches and individuals wanting to ensure Jesus is central to all we are and do.

We produce resources, organise conferences and support to enable a Jesus-centred, Bible-based, Spirit-guided Christian life, church and ministry.

We work in 3 ‘terms’: theology, prayer and evangelism/church growth.

‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’

JESUS is the attraction and makes sense of life.

JESUS is the light, life and logic of the world.

JESUS rescues even the very worst of us.

JESUS gave up everything for the Church. For the church he endured the cross and scorned its shame.

Church only makes sense when Jesus is at the very centre of our hearts and minds.

Church attracts others when Jesus is our obsession.

Statement of Faith

Global church unity

We affirm the the faith uniquely revealed in the Holy Scriptures and set out in the universal catholic creeds.

The Apostles' Creed

Church of England

We believe that the Thirty-Nine Articles of Religion are a faithful, general exposition of the faith revealed in the Bible.

39 Articles

In particular that

There is no salvation outside of Jesus Jesus said “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14.6

Jesus is the sole foundation of the church ‘For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.’ 1 Corinthians 3.11

Knowledge of Jesus is given solely in the Bible, inspired by the Holy Spirit “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.” Matthew 24.35

Jesus is the only Mediator between God and Man in both Old and New Testaments:

‘…our ancestors … all ate the same spiritual food and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ.’ 1 Corinthians 10.1

On current issues

Human sexuality

We affirm God’s creation of humanity as male and female.

We affirm that Christian marriage as between one man and one woman, is the proper place for sexual intimacy and the basis of the family.

Matthew 19.4-6 “Haven’t you read… that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh?’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
